Details about the labels we require are available here. Therefore, if any item does not have the necessary labelling the Project will, unfortunately, not be able to accept it. We will collect re-usable donated items free of charge, unlike many organisations and local authorities, who charge a fee to collect such items.Īll upholstered furniture, beds and mattresses, must, by law, comply with the 1988 fire regulations. We can also accept electric & gas cookers that are in working order. Full details can be found at the community support grant page.We rely on members of the public to donate household furniture, beds, electrical items, bedding, curtains, crockery, TV's, fridges, freezers, washing machines, bric-a-brac, clothing, etc., providing that they are in a re-usable condition. We operate the Community Support Grant scheme to support vulnerable people experiencing financial difficulties and who meets the policy criteria. LRRN may not be able to clear the whole property but can remove any items which are suitable for reuse. You can donate items through the scheme if you are clearing a property. LRRN will tell you when you call if your item may not be suitable.
